Re-Mod after every restart + many unplayable games

    Hello everyone,

I'm having problems with my european 4.1 black Wii. I've been upating the Wii in the past few weeks in order to be able to use DiosMios, so I updated the Rev version and the usb loader gx. But since my "update" I have to reinstall the cIOS every time i start my wii in order to see games with usb loader gx.

And in addition to that, many games, which are supposed to work (mario party 9 for example) do not work and I just get stuck on a black screen or return to the main window ( i guess that's the most frequent problem here).

I've attached a SysCheck and tried to translate it, since it was somehow on german (sorry for that - Keine Patches means "no patches". Funktionslos (stub) means that it currently has no function).

The first error might be cause by this?
    "…runs on IOS36 (rev 3094)." + the cIOS beeing installed on IOS249?

    Thanks for help

Not an expert but I'd say re-mod your wii with the "softmod any wii" guide on this site, then you'll be up to date.

If you had an old rev of usb loader gx on there you need to delete the settings and config file and let it create new ones. look HERE for instructions.

I had many problems with unplayable games when my drive was in the WBFS format. Black screen, games not loading, needing to be re-ripped, etc. Switched to FAT32 and haven't had one single problem since.

same. WBFS is probably the most annoying format. Prefer NTFS though because you can hold +4 GB files on it.

FAT32 is the preferred format so other apps that can't read NTFS can still access information on the hard drive.

Games that are > 4gigs will still install properly by splitting the disk image and reading it in properly as you play.
