Issues finding a current guide for GC games..

I purchased a Wii last summer and instantly modded it using the "Softmod Any Wii guide" by Mauifrog. I have used it quite a bit for NES, SNES, and Wii games mainly for the simplicity of not having to tote all of those games around (college >.<). I never bothered to try playing Gamecube games until yesterday. I do have an SD-Gecko, the Wii Memory card form. I understand that it needs to be in slot 2 and a GC game disk needs to be in the tray.
The issue that I am currently having is trying to find a guide that will help me out with running the games from either the SD Gecko, Front SD, or my HDD that is current. I went through several guides last night all pointing to a SWISS download that had a broken link. I just want to get this up an running guys. Does anybody have some step-by-step things I can use to just get it working?
