Is it ok to update to newesr version of 4.3?

I am searching all over the internet and cant find anything so maybe you can help :D
I hacked my wii a couple months back and everything has been great. I hacked it with 4.3 installed but since there have been updates to 4.3. For example some news games (wipe out 3, wreck it ralph) prompt me to download a new wii update to play them, so I have to open them via homebrew/usbloader to play them. My question is this, can I do the little updates to 4.3 via wii updates, or will this brick my wii? Thanks for your help!

Go into Priiloader by holding reset and enable Block Disc Updates & Block Online Updates. Games will no longer bother you with that needless "update now!" Message.

It will brick your Wii! Do not update your Wii! If you have Priiloader installed, do what SNES_Master has said. If you do not have Priiloader I recommend you install it as it helps alot.

Thanks so much for the fast responses! Will get priiloader now, it will be great to get rid of that message. My girlfriends Mom got a Wii for Christmas and I set up everything for her. I saw that the system needed an update so I ran it. It appears that with the new small update to 4.3 an official youtube channel is added! It would be great to get that going for fast youtube watching on the tv.. Since I cannot get this new update and therefor cannot get this new youtube channel, would you guys recommend a 3rd party youtube solution for homebrew? Thanks again!

I've been on softmodded 4.3 for a while myself now and I've noticed that recently to access wii shop channel. Even in november my wii was softmodded & I had no trouble accessing wii shop.

May I ask what exactly is new in this update?

Thanks for that, so I definitely should stop my wii from trying to upgrade I would suppose. I've tried doing the online block thing from priiloader but I have no idea how to enable it as it doesn't appear as an app on my homebrew channel.

Hold reset until the Priiloader app opens itself (shouldn't take more than 10-15seconds). If it doesn't load you don't have it and will need to find it and install it. It can be found in many places, I recommend the Softmod ANY Wii guide in my signature but you can also get it from the official Google Code page here

Hi, I softmodded using modmii and through that guide my wii boots up using bootmii and holding in reset does not get it to appear..
