Two(3) stupid questions related to Wii and GC stuff for it.

    1) How do you actually remove a controller from Wii xD? I have plugged in my Chinese controller that came today and can't unplug it :/
    2) I have noticed that when you have you controller and memory card plugged in, you don't have any dust protection from getting inside those ports and Wii... any ideas how to protect them from dust?
    3) Do you keep your memory card and gamecube controller hooked up to your wii all the time or remove then after play so the ports wont get dusty inside?

I have insterted my gamepad with extension cabe and I had a little problems removing it from my wii even though I have used a lot of strenght to pull it out xD that's why I was asking.

You didn't answer my 3rd question. Do you keep your gamepad and memory card inserted all the time or remove them so you can cover your wii from dust?

The gc remote should plug in and remove fairly easily, at least mine do.

I personally leave mine in and the covers left open and it has been like that for some 5 years without issue

I have noticed that the gamepad removes it'self fairy easly, but the extension doesn't :/

So you didn't notice any issues with dust etc. to your console? Did it get somehow inside because of that?

Some people just throw away the covers. I don't want dust, I remove the controllers after playing, not just because of the dust but to keep the place in order.
No issues whatsoever with the wii.

How frequent do you remove them (controller/memory)? Nothing is breaking because of it (like controller port in Wii)?

Man, have a little faith in nintendo, I've had 2 wii's ( sold the first one[both first generation]) never had a problem. Zero faults except I learned that removing the flaps to much may break them lol

After every use for me, any time I play N64 or GameCube I use the WaveBird and unplug it when I'm done. The worst that will happen it the port covers loosen up, no big deal...you can order replacements from Nintendo for only a couple bucks.
