    Wii Mini: hacking

Before you all go crazy and tell me there's no hacks available for the mini, my question isn't if it's available, but if there are any members actively researching/attempting methods of modding?

    Thanks

I would say no, as there really is no point, considering there is a new console to focus on. Namely, the Wii U.

You have a point when it comes to the wiiu, although I think the mini would be a great system for travel with the ability to usb load a ton of games, if not for travel then a bedroom unit for the girlfriend

Well friend, sounds like you have discovered a new adventure for yourself to take part in, and a decent motive for doing so. Good luck lol

Seriously though, I don't get the Wii Mini. Why pay $100 for a pared down console with no internet capabilities when you can get a perfectly good and hackable Wii for $50-$60 used. I got a mint condition boot2 Wii for $70 a couple of months ago. Heck, they were going brand new for $89 at Wally World on Black Friday (and some online retailers too).

"Marketing" and geared for the "I'm technophobic" older crowd (damn, I'm approaching that age bracket myself, lol). That or you can simply say "that's Canada for you," LOL (launched there; ever hit state-side?)

No they haven't. There's only 1 on Amazon.com and it ships from Ontario.
