    Trouble Loading GC backups

    Hi,

I'm having trouble loading GC backups. The games appear in both USB Loader Gx 3.0 and Dios Booter, but when I try to run them the system goes black. I successfully backed up and ran a wii game from USB (though I'm mostly interested in backing up GC games). I installed the games using the Dios Mios v2.6 Guide (tried both new method and old method).

I've got Mios Dios installed. I also tried Gator Mios. In fact, I've been through so many tutorials that I think I may have gotten a little confused as to what all I've got on my wii. I'm not sure if doing too much matters though.

I did indeed reformat my HD to FAT with 32 clusters.

I also tried the d2x v9(beta49) instead of the v8, but it had trouble finding my HD so I went back.

    Here is a Syscheck.

Huh. Yeah, you'd almost think we'd have a guide for that, or something. Wonder if there was a guide, you might get information of use. Hmm....

Well your system check does appear a bit messed up, you have some stubbed IOSs that shouldn't be and a couple cIOSs as well. But the MIOS, BC and IOS58 are what control GC games and they look ok. I would post inquiries in the Dios Mios 2.6 guide as you'll get more help there cause it's frequented by many users who know a lot about DM.

Thanks, I'll post over there. Yeah, I noticed that most people who post their syschecks don't have as many stubs. Is there anything I should do about that or just leave it?

I would go with the ol' if it's not broke don't fix it rule. Meaning go through the DM guide, and see what happens, if you still have issues then I'd say go through the Softmod ANY Wii Guide and that will update your IOS and cIOS setup.
