Help please for a complete Noob!!!

OK, so I followed the tutorial on here and have successfully added homebrew and everything on my Wii, yay me!!! Now, I have on my SD card all the apps the site recommended, like neogamma. So, I am told to put games on my SD card I need to format it to WBFS (well thats what my nephew tells me) so when I do that, I lose Neogamma. So heres my question ... how do I get Neogamma to stay on my Wii even when my SD card isn't in it? I tried all sorts but am just getting myself in a tizzy and am going to end up ramming the Wii up the chimney!!!!!!

Sd card? Sure you read that correctly? most folk opt for asb device, like a flash drive or an external harddrive.

well I dont have either of them, the sd card is in a usb card reader tho, thats how my nephew uses his

So did you ask him how he gets around the issue?

The only possible explanation I can think of here is either;
he is using 2 sd cards. one in the console with the apps, and 1 plugged into the usb port via card reader, which contain the games. OR

He is using a Neogamma channel. This is installed onto the wii console system menu and usually does't require access to the sd card.
You are using Neogamma as a forwarder. This is simply a shortcut installed to the system menu which points it to the app on the sd card. in this case the sd card is very much needed.

how do i install neogamma as a channel instead of a forwarder from the sd/usb? cant figure it out
