Wii remotes losing sync in USB loaders

Ok, this is driving me nuts. Every time I go to play a multiplayer game Using USB loader gx I have to resync my remotes. Is this normal? Normally a remote remembers the wii, and you just have to press the buttons on it and it syncs immediately but now I always have to press the sync button on the console for every single remote, and what's worse is they seem to have trouble syncing....I'm pressing the damn sync button over and over for several minutes and it fails to sync several times before it finally works. Getting a four player game to work is a major hassle every time. Player 1 seems to be ok, but the rest not so much. How can I fix this? Does my wiis battery need replacing or something?

Maybe I should test if I have this problem when playing normally from disc.

Hopefully someone has some advice on this.

You can try force-clearing the synced remotes and then re-syncing them. Go the the SM and then hold the sync button on console for 15 seconds. Then just sync you remotes like normal.

    SM? Is that sync menu?

Are you talking about pressing the home key and choosing the option for connecting controllers?

So I am assuming my problem is not normal behavior when using a USB loader than.

SM = System Menu. It's the thing with all you channels are.

I do see this as well, but to a lesser extent.
Before I did my softmod this didn't happen.

    I'm using cfg loader v70r49.

I'll try dniMretsaM suggestion to see if it helps.

This does seem to have fixed my issue, thanks!

My controllers are now connecting by simply pressing the 1 and 2 buttons.

Hello, I am slowly getting problems again. It's not as bad, usually in a multi player game I can still sync with out pressing the sync button...it's just taking longer and longer. Also yesterday I had one controller that completely refused to sync at all (and I ended up having to use a game cube controller to do 4 player in Mario Kart Wii).

I am wondering where the sync info gets stored.

I am guessing on the controller and on the wii?

    1. Can one controller only be synced to one wii at a time(not actually connected obviously but remembered, I am pretty sure this is the case meaning the controller can only remeber one wii)? How do you clear the controllers sync memory? I saw somewhere taking the batteries out for about a full minute will do this.

    2. How many controllers can be synced to one wii (obviouslly 4 can be connected, but can say 5 controllers be in the wii's memory and be able to be recognized automatically? I do have 5 controllers plus a balance board)

    3. Will running an emunand in my USB Loader GX be similar to having sync with two wiis? In other words will controller sync information from the emulated nand be used seperately?

    4. Also is there actually such a thing as guest mode? I see some info that says entering the home menu where it says to press 1 and 2 will connect any wii controller on a temporary one time basis. From my memories of my experience cousins always had to press the red button when they brought controllers over.....

Normally I will sync at the system menu as I have seen it is the best place to do it, but when launching the loader I will lose all sync and then I think I lose it again when launching a game.

All my controllers are official first party controllers. Only one has Motion Plus built in.

hold the red button on the wii in for 20 seconds to clear all controllers then use the red buttons on the wii and the controllers to re sync them with your wii.

I found the solution through trial and error I believe. Please add this to your knowledge base, perhaps it can help others out.

It seems to me it's normal to lose connection when launching home brew but the problems happen when I mix regular wii motes with motion plus inside controllers.

Once I cleared all my controllers and left my black controller with wii motion plus built in out of the re sync process everything is smooth as butter. I lose connection temporarily when launching home brew but the controllers sync right back up. When my motion plus controller is involved it becomes dominant, usually only that controller will sync easy and the rest will give me a bunch of headaches.

Does anyone else experience this behavior? All my controllers are official ones.
