Duplicated Gamecube covers in USB Loader GX?

Hello, I have a soft-modded Wii (first done about 1.5 years ago) and recently updated to enable Gamecube games to load through USB Loader GX (using the guide in the Recommended FAQs, Guides, etc section). I initially had the paths set for Gamecube isos to intall to my SD but have altered this so they install on my external HD in the same folder with my Wii rips.

My issue is I am seeing duplicate entries for my Gamecube games - each entry has the cover image and mirrors the categories and similar settings of the other but the second is just a black screen. this doesn't seem to prevent me from loading the true image but it is a bit annoying to have second image show up in the gallery view. The second can't be deleted on its own but will disappear when I uninstall the game and reappear when I reinstall. Since the categories and options are mirrored I can't just mark it an ignore category to hide it.

I haven't been able to find a similar thread on the forums but I would appreciate any help or advice to remove the ghost entry while retaining the game.

    Thanks!

Which guide did you use to get your GC games on USB and which GC loader do you use, Devolution or Dios Mios?

I used DiscMurderer's " [Guide] Usb loader Gx including Dios Mios and Emulated nand

" guide, so USB Loader GX + Dios Mios. I skipped the Emulated nand steps but am planning to do those too. For the initial softmod, I followed the "Soft Mod Any Wii" guide.

    Thanks!

    Ok:
    Wii system Menu = 4.3U
    USB Loader GX = 3.0c (IOS249 Rev 20)
    Dios Mios = 2.6

    Thanks.

    Try this one:

Use the one for IOS249. Also try loading it from the HBC (if you aren't already).

Ok, I replaced the boot.dol in SD\apps\usbloader_gx with the IOS249 boot.dol in the link you provided and launched USB Loader from the HBC but I still see the duplicated ghost entries for any gamecube game. They aren't there when I first install them but appear after exiting and relaunching USB loader.

I ran syscheck in case that helps:

    Spoiler

    Thanks.

Your sysCheck looks ok to me. So this is odd, are the ISOs you're seeing doubles of located in just 1 place on the HDD and not on the SD card?

    Hi,
My games are all on the USB drive but everything else (apps folder, wad folder, etc) is on my SD. I initially installed the gamecube games on my SD but uninstalled them and reinstalled on my USB. The games load and everything seems to work other than the second image. Is it possible there are some leftover files on the SD?

I don't think so, it could be something with the USB loaders config file.
