I have a wii recording and playing games to a hard drive.
This error has appeared "error booting bootmii ios" with could not find sd:bootmii/armboot.bin
The wii remotes won't connect, although I can control a little with a plug-in nintendo controller
Is there any easy fix for that please?

BootMii wasn't made to work with WiiMotes anyway. Do you have the bootmii folder on your SD card? It has 3 files - armboot.bin, ppcboot.elf and another file I don't remember.
No there is no bootmii folder on my sd card
Where to from here please?
Launch the latest HackMii installer (from an exploit or the Homebrew channel) and "Prepare an SD card." Install BootMii too.

(You can even start over from scratch and do EVERYTHING in this guide, which will effectively re-mod your Wii with everything that you need to be up-to-date, just in case you may not be.
I'm using the hackmii installer..i've installed homebrew and ios 6176 and ios 5661. there is an option to uninstall dvdx..do i uninstall divx?
