Hi all
iv just got my son a wii. its second hand and i have connected it to the internet but cant go in to the shop it tells me to update. so i do that and i get an error code i held the reset button and iv got homebrew???? but its not on the screen. can some one please help me i can go on to the weather channel and news so its is definitely connected to the internet.
That's priiloader blocking it from updating through Nintendo.
What do you want to do?
Do you want to re-soft mod it?
Do you want to remove the soft Mod?(Not Recommended!)
You'll have to update the shop channel. You can either do just that, or update your entire softmod (which will inclued updating the shop channel). Follow the Softmod Any Wii guide (link in my sig) to do that.Quote:

What you should do is follow the Soft Mod Any Wii Guide, Link is at the bottom of my signature.
Please read it a few times , then proceed.
Start from the beginning and follow it all the way through.
That guide will install everything you need , including the Shop Channel and you'll still be able to purchase games from the Shop.
Make a post in the Introduction section and you will be giving all the links needed to learn more about your wii/Programs etc.
