Thread: rip wii discs?

    I think you have to have one of those fancy LG drives to rip your games to the computer. Or you can use your Wii and store them on your HDD. I prefer to use a software called GameBackupSystem, since I have one of the LG drives. The LG drives don't cost that much so you may as well consider them for your backups. Will let you store them onto discs rather than the Hard Drive itself

    It may be easier to use the LG drive to store the backups as discs - but it is certainly not necessary. You can do it with the wii in 3 steps:

    1. Rip game using wii/USB Loader to HDD
    2. Plug HDD into computer and use Backup Manager to convert to ISO.
    3. Burn ISO to disc.

    No LG drive / additional purchase required.
