Glad to know you got it working.
Accomplished! ok so I got WiiFlow 100% running off my usb Hard Drive with a channel forwarder.
I did no additional mods to my Wii after I softmodded it with this tutorial here : http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html
Here is what I did:
I have a 3TB Western Digital My Book Essential. It's formated to FAT32
I put an apps folder on my USB Hard Drive and added the wiiflow folders from my SD card and added them to my USB HDD.
So it looks like this:
I deleted them off of my SD card. But always back up your SD card.
On my USB drive I went into the wiiflow ini file located here:
I changed everything that targeted paths to the SD card to USB. By the way you use notebook to edit ini files. This is what the info in the wiiflow ini file looked like when I was done.
I then added the channel forwarder wad on my SD card in a a folder called "wad" The name of the wad is Wiiflow-FIX94v11forwarder-DWFA.wad That I want to removed.
It is the wad that I used in the tutorial here on wiihacks to mod my wii.
I launched WiiMod and used it to uninstall that wad and remove the channel from my wii system menu. Some people just remove it through the system menu but I have read other places that it will leave some things behind when you do that.
After that I went to the site here https://sites.google.com/site/wiiflo...arder-channels and downloaded the latest channel from the list and added it to my SD card to install.
This is where it got tricky.
I have a newer remote so I thought I would just install the channel with WiiMod. Well that didn't work. I kept getting an error for some reason or another. So then I went and I was lucky enough to have an old Wii controller and I tried to use Wad Manager 1.7. Again.... I got another error for some reason. I was becoming very frustrated at this point. So I then tried Multi-Mod Manager v13.4. Boom! That worked. But remember these installer programs obly work with older Wii controlers and thats the down side to it. BUT.... it worked. I went to the system menu and went to the wiiflow channel. Pulled out my SD card entirely and clicked start and it ran!
Thanks again for all of the help everyone gave me. I hope that this will help anyone else in search of the same situation. Happy Modding!
