Softmodded 4.3E Wii safe to update to 4.3.1?

Hi, first of all i'm new here :).

Second, there's a new update for the wii released in November and it updates the wii shop and adds the IOS62, however for those who have a softmodded 4.3 wii (like me) can't access the wii shop channel unless they update the wii, now i wanted to ask if its safe to update to 4.3.1 through normal Nintendo process without losing any homebrew stuff such as cIOS, channels, etc.

Since it only adds an IOS and updates the wii shop channel i dont think it removes anything but better safe than sorry right ;)

There's a guide here "update shop channel to v21." Follow the steps and your shop channel will work fine.
