I know most Wii games are far too large for what I'm about to ask but curiosity beckons that I do so anyway.

I've noticed there are a few Wii games (most notably New Super Mario Bros) that are only around 300mb after you scrub them so I need to ask, provided a Wii's NAND has enough space (Wii has 512mb at most) could it be possible to inject a Wii game into a wad like people do with SNES and NES games or is there another reason it won't work?

Just asking out of curiosity...I think it'd be cool if I could install NSMB or Wii Sports on my Wii NAND but I'm aware it's probably a pipe dream lol.

I think it's possible with an EmuNAND, not so sure...

Well, I dont think that the inject theory would work, because you can only inject roms into wads of the same species. Examples you can only Inject N64 roms into N64 wads. So you would need to inject a wbfs into a Wii wad, like a WiiWare title. Also, wad are stored in the nand as titles (like the ones you find in the private folder of the sd card). So you would have to convert wbfs into title-format.

Hmm, I wonder if that would be possible? I know I can extract a games contents with DiscEX but to turn the game into tickets...I wonder if there's someway I can do that, use a WiiWare game as a "donor" wad?

It is an interesting idea, I'm sure it would take a lot of work to get it working if it is indeed possible though.
This would really make xNEEK a nice thing to you, which actually gives me an idea, instead of selecting games from the xNEEK menu, why not display them as channels on the menu, I'm sure that the menu would have to somehow be extended though, I'm sure there are some people out there that have tons of games on their HDDs that would go way beyond the channel limit.
