Depends what sort of stuff you have on there, go to settings, format wii system memory, if you have a recent game (like Mario Party 9) then use it to install the demo channels. If you have a theme installed the online/disc update will not uninstall it, you will need to go to MyMenuify and reinstall the original app menu (don't forget this will remove Priiloader). If you want to remove your Wii Shop account then go to Wii Shop Channel, settings/other and remove shop account.
Thanks! I'm mostly just concerned with personal account info such as credit cards, addresses, and such, so removing shop info will take care of that?
I believe the information cannot be accessed by anyone else, Nintendo have a secure system in place for that, but if you have downloaded games/channels then the recipent should not need to pay Wii points to download them again. But I would deffo remove the account to be sure that none of your personal details are accessible and "unlink" your Club Nintendo Star Catalogue account (if you have one).
You must erase shop channel data manually. i think there is a setting to remove shop channel data in the setting of the shop channel. since the last person who owned my wii didn't do that i got excitebike and smb2 for free :027:
