    Re: Shopping Channel Update

    HI all,
Was wondering if anybody can help me on how i go about updating my shopping channel without loosing my Homebrew stuff. I have tried to follow a tutorial on this from this site, which has an online version, an offline version, and a changed country version. I have followed the first two to no avail. It is made to sound so simple to do, but i am totally struggling here can anybody break it down for me as i am new to all this. My WII has the Homebrew softmod, and i am currently on Firmware Vs4.2E Would be extremely gratefull if anybody could help me, as i want to get NETFLIX from the shopping channel.

    Many Thanks
    Alan

Download Shop Channel v21 from NUSD or ModMii and install the WAD with a WAD Manager of your choice.

If you would like to update the Wii Shop Channel-
    Download
RVL-Shopping-v21.zip (If you have not updated this channel since Nov.2012, you need this! If you are unsure, it doesnt hurt to do it)
Extract the RVL-Shopping-v21.zip file directly to the sd:/wad/channels folder on your sd card. If you do not already have this folder go ahead and create it.
    Overwrite files if asked
Then, download WiiMod 3.2 which is a Homebrew application. Run the application. You will see may options, scroll down to Wad Manager and press A. It will show the SD card's root folder. Go to the directory mentioned above, and click on the wad file. Press A to install the wad. You should be updated.

You can use any wad manager, WiiMod 3.2, WadManager 1.7, Multi-Mod Manager 13.4...they should all work. Just reload to Ios236 before the install.
