I have last year soft modded my wii,
but i wanna play with it now.
my first question is:
-can i play online when your wii is softmodded?
my second is:
-my game say i have to update the game in the game shop,
but i have to update my wii for it?
do i need to do this?

Update your Wii with the Softmod ANY Wii guide (link in my sig) and if applicable start with the "Softmods with Homebrew Channel installed."
A part of that guide enables blocking online and disc updates, so updating woun't be necessary.
As for your first question, yes, you can play online when your Wii is softmodded.
My wii is already softmoded,
i did it a year ago,
it wasn't so hard i thaugt lol
But you modded it a year ago. In that year many new things have been introduced to the Wii Hacking scene and so following that guide will "update" your softmod and also give you the functionality of Blocking Disc Updates, etc.
