Just acquired a pre-modded White Wii, unsure what to do with it.

So i have this wii and its already soft modded with the home-brew channel and a hd loader, it even came with a 500gb usb drive, the drive i think is fragged tho as my computer is telling me it needs formatted. but i digress...

So i guess i just kinda wondering what should i do? I have no ideal whats been installed on it what tweaks have been made how up to date the soft mod is, i see pimpmywii is on it i hear thats a bad thing.

so like is there anyway i can reset the wii to factory default but keep the HBC... what would you guys do.

    Also first post here, hello.

you should update your softmod with the Softmod any wii guide on recommended guides
and about the drive it probably means its formated to wbfs (which isn't really necessary anymore)
to see what's inside the drive use tools like wii game manager(in this tool you would use open > wbfs partition)

"SoftMod Any Wii " is your first friend !
"Wii Backup Manager" is your second friend.

your pc probably cant see the drive because its formmated wbfs so google wbfs manager and try opening the drive with that, as for the wiimote problem, just follow the softmod guide from wiimod step and that will give you all the latest versions of the apps, that all work with the newer wiimotes
