wii soft mod iso games please help
hi guys i just soft modded my wii v3.2E with homebrew/usbloadergx3.0 and wad manager.. these files as far as i know have installed properly using an sd card. i want to now play iso file wii and gc games using my 4gb usb stick (im aware the stick is small and will get a bigger 1) i placed zelda windwaker gc game iso file on to the stick by just dragging and dropping i did try to use wbfs manager to format and place it on but it came up with "error occured while trying to load drive , make sure the device is not in us or has been formatted to wbfs format" it is neither in use and try to format it from the wbfs menu and thought it had but i dont know. anyhow like i said i dragged and dropped the iso file straight to my usb to see if tht would work put the usb in the wii (tryed bouth usb slots) and it says cant find the usb.... what am i doing wrong please explain in noob english please thankyou
If you do not want to use WBFS, format your USB to FAT32 and use WiiBackupManager to put games into a folder called WBFS in you root (eg: F:\WBFS).
To try the WBFS manager again, try to format your drive and then retry.
Here is a link to the official FAT32 HDD guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...ide-fat32.html
Having said that ^^ is it possible to play gc games without having a disc in first? As my disc drive dont work i have everything i need to play it all progs and files installed only cant figure out how to get it to play a gc game with out the disc. Its only zelda windwaker i want is there a wad file for it anywhere?

Any case you can still play Wii games off of your USB stick even without a disk drive.
Also if you really just want to play WW you can try downloading Dolphin Emulator. WW plays really well on it on most computers. Good Luck

I am able to play gamecube games without having a disk in the drive. I am using Dios Mios V2.5 and the latest USBLoader GX with R1200. I had previously thought you needed to have a GC game in while playing but I guess you dont. Not sure if this is a new feature of DM 2.5 or what but its working fine.
