Everything is working fine, but i notice, on WiiMC, when i my romote goes to sleep, it never reconnects with the Wii, while im watching stuff on WiiMC(Shoutcast TV). I basiclly have to hold my power button till it resets, as non of the other buttons work. Any ideas?
Oh, also the Wiimote im using is a older wiimote, not the one with motion plus, as my motion plus remote seems to not work with most of the homebrew apps.
Quick update, i just watched a movie on WiiMC via USB Storage, and my remote reconnected after it went to sleep just fine, so it seems to be only slipping into a coma when i watch shoutcast TV
Really? Nobody has ever had this issue, its just me? Whenever I use WiiMC, if my controller goes to sleep, it will never reconnect. Im constantly having to hard reset my wii just to do anything.
I don't use shoutcast tv but second post make me think this. When you watch a movie your hard drive continues to run to play the movie. Shoutcast streams so it might not need the hard drive so it goes to sleep. One solution if available is to turn off sleep mode on the hard drive using the manufacturers tools (if they have them) the second option is to upgrade to wiiflow 4.0.2 which now includes a read to the hard drive to keep it from sleeping.

I didn't know much about wiimc but now after looking at it you are not launching it thru wiiflow (since it doesn't appear to be possible) so updating wiiflow will not fix the potential sleep issue. I still think the issue is the drive sleeping, now you might have to rely on your hard drive manufacturer having a tool to turn sleep mode off to test the theory. Assuming it has a sleep mode turning it off will not hurt anything.
Eh, i dont really want to crack open the Wii to fix the controller not reconnecting, ill just walk up and reboot the wii when im done with watching streaming.
That works too! Just wondering out loud no need to answer but open your wii to get at the drive? Don't you use an external usb hard drive? I am not talking about fixing the hardware that comes with a virgin wii, I am talking about a usb connected hard drive.
I run WiiMC through an SD Card, all my apps are through my SD card, or installed on the Wii itself, the games and movies i watch via usb are thumbdrives
