Wii Remote problem ?

hi all I brought new wii remote with motion plus built in.But with some games he would not work ( not responding ) but only works when I connect him with nunchucks.(game grand slam tennis :not working alone but works with nunchuks,pes12 again the same,just some of examples ) can any1 knows what is the problem

I'm not sure that I completely understand your question but I think both of those games require use of the nunchucks
