Hoping you can help me out again, i've got some custom tracks that are not a part of the ctgp, the read me says rename them which I've done ie beginners_course and placed them into my stuff folder but I can't find them anywhere in the game, any ideas? I've added you to my friends lists and when I'm next online I will pm you my details.
As always thanks for your help.

Sorry for delay, i found that that didnt work for me either; it's been a long time since I did this so bear with me.
Each custom course that you put in the my stuff folder has to have the same name as the course you want to replace it with. When you start Riivolution disable everything else except the my stuff folder.
For example if you downloaded an individual custom track and you wanted it to replace Luigi Circuit (which is beginner_course.szs), then put the szs file of the new course in the my stuff folder and rename it beginner_course.szs. When you start the game and select Luigi Circuit the new course should then be launched. Note that the new course's name won't appear on the track list.

The first post asked about Mario Kart GP which is a Triforce arcade machine game. All other posts refer to Riivolution which is an on the fly game patcher. ctgp is an add on for Mario Kart. Custom tracks GP gives you an extra 110 tracks and a hacked menu. You need a retail Mario Kart disc for it to work. I was getting into it but my Wii has started scratching discs.

Mario Kart GP (the arcade one) is pretty easy to set up. First install the wad. I used Wad Manager 1.7. You won't be able to play Gamecube games anymore. Then get your ROM dump which will probably have a bin extension, use Wii iso renamer v3, to change the id & title. I changed the id to ARCADE and the title to Mario Kart GP. Only takes a second, i wondered if it had done it cos it didn't say finished. Now take that bin file and drop it on DiscEX v0.8 and wait for it to make the iso. You will end up with a folder called ARCADE or what ever id you gave it. Drag that into your games folder on your SD card. Load it with USB LoaderGX. You can get away with using a class 4 SD card for Mario Kart GP if you have the right cluster size. Mario Kart GP2 will need a class 6 or 10.

Thanks mk2escort for your input, I was hopeful I might be able to get the arcade tracks via a custom source but no luck, I am loving the ctgp however the arcade games is what I'm really after, I will give your instructions a try and let you know how I get on, when you say I wont be able to play cube games is it actual discs, backups or both? Also is there a way of reversing the "damage" so I could play them again at a later date if I wanted to? If I'm correct I think installing the gp's it changes or damages MIOS??

Thanks again mkhacker your instructions worked a treat.

Any advice as always is much appreciated.

Installing the quadforce wad does replace the mios. You won't be able to play any Gamecube games, even retail discs, until you swap the mios back. I've not tried reversing it yet. Will do at some point.

I done a syscheck before and after installing Quadforce. They were the same. I had v10 mios patched and installed with Wiigator. Just reinstalled Wiigator. I can now play retail and backups from disc again.
