Its been a while..... Softmod...... Still ok??

Hi everyone... its been a while since ive posted on here and just wanted to make sure that you are still able to softmod all Wii's.
One of my releatives is after one but i was unsure if a brand new one may come on a late version which isnt compatible.

Are new ones still ok??? Do they come on 4.3 ??
