New to WADs

I am really new at hacking my Wii. I successfully installed homebrew, usb loader gx, and d2x cios installer. I created a nand backup with bootmi. I am successfully running games off my hard drive. Now I found a pack of wads with various wii ware, virtual console games and now I want to get those working. Anything I need to know before I brick my Wii by mistake? I was going to start with wad manger 1.7 but thought I should check this out with more experienced members first. Thanks in advance.

Have you installed Priiloader? It's about the only easy way to recover from a wad/channel brick.
