Complete re-setup of HDD for use of WBFS/GC/Emulation - Clarification required

I've been around for a while and recently just started using a HDD. I am very pleased with the speed and use of the USB Loader GX. Originally I formatted the drive (2TB) to WBFS and have loaded my games onto the system. I love the fact I don't need the DVD's anymore. Now, pulling out the case of gamecube games I have, i'd like to do the same. I have run into some speed bumps and I am slowly learning and correcting errors. So, please follow with me.

1: I am removing all WBFS fomatted wii titles off the HDD to my PC.
2: I plan on re-formatting the HDD to FAT32. (as I was told this is what you need to run GC and emulation from the HDD - RIGHT???)
3: Recopy back all the WBFS format games back onto the HDD using Disk Manager.
4: Create a games folder in the root directory for gc titles.

Big issue....ripping GC DVD's.
The only way I figured out was to use "DVD Dumper" through the Homebrew channel, over WIFI to the PC, saving as an ISO. Then using DiscEX convert it so it can be placed within the GAMES folder on the HDD. Assuming this works, I can play my GC games finally with HDD?

5: Emulators? I have them in the homebrew channel now but, all running of a SD card. I want to go HDD for the storage.
6: ISO emulation games...PSX, Saturn, Sega CD

Next step, I own over 110 Sega CD titles, I see the updated Sega Emu has Sega CD support. I wonder how to go about this? Assuming I can rip using the old CDRwin program. That works with PSX titles and hybrid CDs.

I am a hard core old school gamer, not a noob in any means, just asking for help from fellow gamers.

I plan on my wii to emulate and run all the old school things I crave!

Well, I have formatted the HDD to FAT32. Transferred my WBFS games back to the HDD. They are working but, why is the GC stuff not working? I used the DiscEX program to convert the ripped ISO I have and placed it in the games folder on the HDD. Why is not working? Anyone have a clue on this?

More research....
USBLoaderGX has gotten corrupted. It knows the games are there and they will load. Then I tried to extract a GC game to the HDD. It started and crashed.
All my settings on the SD card will not let me go back to the USB. I loaded WiiFlow and so far it is working for the Wii titles but have not had success with GC.
I had gone into homebrerw channel to delete the USBLoaderGX and it has been sitting on delete with the circle loader spinning for 5 min now. Not good.

I think the reason you have so many views and no replies is that you are asking for an all out guide for your particular scenario. You began your question with all the things you plan to do, and all the things you "figure" and "assume" you can do. The guides on this site are laid out precisely, as you have noticed. So follow those guide to a T. If you have a problem with a particular aspect of those guides ask your question in that thread, because the people who know the most about that particular aspect of the Wii will be able to help you.

There are many different members of this forum who have expertise in many different areas. Yes I was one of those viewers who didnt reply. I can't give you all your answers because Im not an expert in GC games. Others may not be experts in modding and formatting. In short, I don't see many people posting anywhere that are willing to give you help on step 5 but dont know the answers on steps 1-4 and 6-10. Kind of an "all or nothing" type of thing.

Go do your research in the section you are having problems with. If you have an issue, post in that section. I hope you aren't taking my response as rude. I just think you need to work on one step at a time...:)
