    GC games on hdd

Is it possible to add GC games to hdd using Wii backup manager? When doing this right now I can't see GC game in the list.

the way do this this is to use a program called discex, you move to iso over to the Discex app (on your computer) it makes a folder with the game ID, puts the iso in the file. You then transfer that folder over to your usb1/games **must make a games folder in your usb root

I have created games folder on my hdd.
Moved over that new created iso with folder GMSE01 to hdd folder games.

How do I now start the game? How do I find this folder in Wii? Do I need to move over that new folder using Wii backup manager?

You need DIOS MIOS or Devolution.

Hey snes. you got a current wiiflow wad? I've been using USBloaderGX, but i dont like that i cant modify or update the game title (what i actually see on the screen) some games are all caps and some (FFCC) are just abbreviations.

I don't use WiiFlow, but there is an easy fix for your Issue. In the settings you can turn on "use GameTDB.xml" and under the update option you can DL the latest GameTDB.xml...

I can give more precise instructions in a bit if you'd like but I can't get to the Wii right now.

Edit: To explain GameTDB.xml a little it's pretty much just a list DLed from GameTDB.com. It contains a database of all the games they've got info for so all your games will be named correctly once you set up the option to use it.

I also had a question about GC games. See I dont have a spare SD card and my HDD drive is not compatible for playing GC games (320GB Western Edition My Passport). However I do have an 8GB USB thumb drive

So I was wondering, can I use a thumb drive to play GC games?
