Ok I was able to get the game to show up on USB Loader GX, but when I try to start the game it asks me to copy to SD card. How do I get it to run? I should be good to go after this last part

    Thanks

If u have dios mios and the latest revision of the loader installed it should just be a case of changing the settings to make sure its using dios mios

Sent from my GT-N7000 using WiiHacks

Ok yeah thats what I thought, but I dont see the option to do that under settings. I'm checking Loader Settings and I dont see a Dios Mios option anywhere, only

    DML NMM Mode
    DML LED Activity
    DML PAD Hook
    DML No Disk
    DML Debug

(I assume the DML stands for Dios Mios Lite, sorry if I'm wrong and that sounds extra noobish, I'm trying my best here lol)

Anyway I used the "Softmod Any Wii Guide" recently within the past week. Would that have given me the latest USB Loader GX which is compadible with Dios Mios v. 2.2?

I installed the Dios Mios v. 2.2 wad and installed it with Wad Manager, Then I reinstalled my old MOIS v.10 so I could play my retail GC disks, is it possible to have both of these installed? or just one or the other?

These are the only things I can think of that may be wrong. Any input would be appreciated

Change "GameCube Mode" to "MIOS (Default & Custom)"

DIOS MIOS will now be usable...if its installed correctly and your USB Loader is up to date.

Edit: No, the guide only have you 3.0 for USB Loader GX, you must look for USB Loader GX 3.0 r1200 or r1201 if you want to use DM, DML or Devolution.

Also you cannot have DIOS MIOS & the original MIOS...it's one or the other, when you reinstalled MIOS after having DM installed it automatically removed DM.

I downloaded the r1200 file and extracted it to my SD card, Now I am in Wii Mod.

How do I install the files? I really dont want to mess up here and brick my wii.

I have been using this guide:

    http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...os-v2-0-a.html

It says the latest version of USB Loader is at the top of the post. I clicked on the USB Loader link @ the top and downloaded USB Loader GX v3.0 and extracted to my SD. It shows up in Wii Mod, Then I downloaded the (2) link right next to the USB Loader Link and it said it was r1200_IOS 122-149-150 7z and I extracted that to my SD as well and it shows up in Wii Mod but not as a .wad file, it shows up as a <DIR>

can somebody walk me through how to get the latest version of USB Loader w/ r1200 revisions. I'm Lost

I guess my question @ this point is do I use Apploader to install the r1200 DIR instead of Wad Manager?

You place the boot.dol for USB Loader GX into the USB loader GX folder in apps and overwrite the old one. No install is required for USB GX. Then with any Wad Manager program you load ios236 and install DIOS MIOS.

Just make sure you use the boot.dol from USB Loader GX v3.0 r1200 that says IOS249.

Thanks that did it and its working now. Thanks for all the help

    1 last question:

If I want to play retail GC disks again can I just simply install the mios v.10 again and can I alternate between that and Dios Mios often?

You should be able to play retails discs anyway with DM (can't confirm cause my disc drive is shot) but in the case that it doesn't work, yes, You can reinstall the original MIOS file to play Retails again, however the next time you want to USB load you'll have to reinstall DIOS MIOS. This is the reason I recommend people look into Devolution as a secondary loader as it does not require installation. It simply runs off SD and can be used in perfect harmony with REAL MIOS or even DIOS MIOS.
