Question Using laptop as an HDD? HELP

Hey guys! I'm new in here and I have a question: Can I use my laptop (HP pavilion g6 1000st) as a HDD on my Wii if I format a partition in FAT32?

    Thank you!

How do you plan on connecting to the laptop? Using a mapped network drive to the new partition shared over the network?

The short answer is "No." The long answer is "I really don't think so, because, the Wii and the USB loaders in general don't have any support to handle network shares." And even if they did, a network connection (particularly a Wifi connection) wouldn't really be the greatest medium for streaming massive amounts of data.

I have two Wii's now, so I'd love to be able to set up a SAN with iSCSI connections via wired Gigabit Ethernet, but alas, it's not going to happen. So for now, I'm going the two separate hard drives route.... but Wii to Wii replication doesn't sound like it would be out of the realm of possibility..... ok, nevermind me, just thinkin' aloud....
