Unhappy Usb Loader Gx Help PLEASE....

    Here is the deal,
i downloaded and installed Usb loader Gx and it worked great for a few days but then i got the infamous "Exception dsi stack dump whatever message". I re-installed it and it works fine again which brings me to my question. What can i do to prevent this from happening to my Wii (4.2U) again?.

    Thanks in advance....

Spread salt around your Wii and do a voodoo dance with a doll that looks like Skellinator. Then climb a ladder to the gutters on your house and put the doll in the downspout. Yell Jizzam, jizzoom, and then go order a Domino's pizza. You will feel better.

Now for your issue, many things could cause that error. I really wouldn't worry about it too much if it only happened that one time. Did you change anything at all immediately prior to this error?

Did you rip them with GX or did you use some other method to put them on your drive?

That Exception error doesnt happen often, but I have seen it happen from time to time with many different apps, and the reasons are all different. In short, from your description I cant really tell you why it happened or a definite solution to prevent it from "ever" happening again. If it becomes consistent, then we can narrow it down from there. A few things that would help in identifying a potential problem would be:

    1. Post a syscheck
    2. Provide the make and model number of your external drive
    3. Tell us the version of GX you are using

I just noticed that it updated to Usb loader Gx v3.0 from v1.8 (i am guessing that might have been the problem).
I will use this new version for awhile to see if that's what it happened to be, if that's not the problem i will post again at a later date.

Thanks a lot for the help you provided Cjizzle.
