Pretty new to the wii hacking...

First of all, I'm sorry if this isn't supposed to be posted here. This is actually the first forum I've ever signed up to. I'm still getting the hang of everything. So if this is posted in the wrong place, please be kind, and just let me know for future reference.

Anyway, I bought a Wii, and downloaded two games for virtual console:

    Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
    &
    Mario Party 2

After buying all of that I couldn't afford to get a Classic Controller, so I'm using a GC controller.
I finally figured out how to get HomeBrew and Gecko up and running, but I'm still not polished on using them.
Can you even use Gecko codes on the Virtual Console?
How do I go about doing that?

And I can't understand the whole "button activator" concept. To be honest, I'm not good with programming, if that has anything to do with it.
I know how to use The Ocarina Cheat Code Manager, with the 2GB SD card and all of that, but the activator idea just confuses me.

So if you can in-fact hack virtual console games, and there are codes for these two, could I get some help?

I would prefer if someone could just list a few useful codes (complete with all of the same button activators) for each of the games so I can pick and choose from the selection, but I know that doing so must be time-consuming and aggravating. So if someone could kindly explain what to do, that would be wonderful too.

    Thanks folks!
