WAD Manager not working with new controller, possible alternative?

Hello all, I'm new to the WII, having a wii for only a week. I was previously a PC gamer but 7 years ago I played zelda and ever since then I fell in love it. I even bought a gamecube and twilight princess (twice!) haha. Anyway I bought a wii and skyward sword last week. It's a brilliant game.

Anyway, now that I've introduced myself...

I followed the Softmod any wii tutorial on this site. I did some stuff, played some games, etc. Anyway, foolishly I decided to install missing IOS's from brick my wii. I haven't encountered any problems yet, but I figure i better re-mod my wii just to be safe.

However, I did notice one thing: Brick my Wii contains an UPDATED Wad Manager, that works with the new wiimotes on the new black wiis. I CANNOT use any other Wad Manager as they don't work with the wiimote.
Can anyone tell me if it will be SAFE to use this Wad Manager in brick my wii? And since I don't have a white controller (I borrowed one for the first soft-mod), would it also be okay to use this wad manager to install the wads needed in the "Softmod ANY wii" tutorial? Also, since I have a patched IOS249 would it be safe to install most WADS on that IOS also?
If you have a version of Wad Manager that works with the new wiimotes - PLEASE provide it! ^___ ^

Thanks; P.S. Another question, would it be acceptable to install my missing IOS's with ModMii, if not, how would you suggest I do this?

    Thanks.

Hey, i bricked my wii a while ago, but I managed to replace it.. But be careful about bricking, even though they replaced it, they sent me some scratched up, used wii.

So anyway, I remember when i had my cracked wii, I used the Multi Mod Manager, or MMM... Cause I also remember the wii remote not working during the other WAD installers.

Besides installing WAD files, it's a really useful tool to have on your wii console. It worked perfectly for me, and you should give it a try.
    Heres the link: http://mmm4wii.posterous.com/

Any more questions be sure to ask.

MMM is great but does not support the new controllers, that is why I recommend wiimod.

Sent from my PH44100 using WiiHacks

Doesn't hurt to try, but its not gonna work. MMM was compiled with an older version of libogc, which is completely incompatible with the TR remotes. Skellinator isn't pulling your chain here, wiimod is the way to go. And wiimod has even more features than MMM, just be careful with it...

Sent using the WiiHacks app. Please excuse the brevity, punctuation and spelling.

Alright, Thanks Guys. I will use Wii Mod to install the Wads when following the Softmod ANY Wii guide.

Can any of you tell me if it's safe to use ModMii to install any missing IOS's AFTER using the guide?

    Thank you.

You won't have any missing Ios/cios, if you follow that Guide.....it installs everything you need.
You can still use wiimod to install other ios/cios if you need to .

Remember MMM doesn't support the new Wiimotes.

Guys, I'm up to the stage where I need to install Priiloader. Priiloader that is provided in the Softmod Any Wii tutorial doesn't work with the new wiimotes. Does anyone have a copy of priiloader that will work with my wiimote? Thank you. I don't want you guys to think I'm expecting a handholding, so with that being said while I wait for a reply I'm going to try and recompile priiloader with a new version of devkit.
