    No disc drive

    Hi there,

I have a wii that does not have a working disc drive. I have softmodded the wii as per the complete softmod guide on your site. I have a hard drive with my games on it, and it works on my wii that has a working disc drive. The Homebrew channel, loaders all work, but when I load a game from CFG or USBLoader GX, it goes to black screen, then says that an error occurred and to eject the disc and refer to manual. Is it possible that this just won't work because the disc drive is not operational?

    Thanks.

If the Disc Drive is completely broken, then it will not work.
You will not be able to load any wii games from your Usb Loaders.

They are trying to load from the usb HDD.
This person said the Disc drive is Not Operational.

Now if the drive is completely dead, then it will not be able to load even through the usb loaders.
