NAND Backup with BootMii as an IOS

Hello! I just installed the HBC (and didn't get bricked yay!)

Now, I'm following this site's "Softmod any Wii" guide, and it advises me to make an NAND backup of my wii. However, my SD card is too small for it so I can't.

Reading through the internet, I keep hearing that BootMii as an IOS does not allow you to restore an NAND backup, even with PriiLoader. Is there any point in making an NAND backup if I only have BootMii as an IOS?

Also, I want to install Savegame Manager, and I'm wondering if downloading it and the cIOS249 is safe.

    Thanks!

1.)Yes! You should always keep and make a back up of your nand/keys and save them to your computer.
This will help you if something goes wrong....You would however have to send it to a nand programmer to fix your wii ,if something does go wrong.

2.)Yes! You can download both of those and yes it is safe ..as long as you get it from a trust worthy site.Like here at WiiHacks.

Ok, I'm instead going to extract my nand keys.

XYZZY loaded and now I have a screen that says

    "Exception (Program) occured!"

And now there's a huge block of code on my TV and nothing's happening.

You have to make sure you have a 1gb or 2gb sd card.

You need to have enough storage room on your sd card.
I believe you said you don't have enough room on your sd card.(Sd card Is Too Small)

You will have to get a bigger Sd Card to back it up and get a Sandisc Sd Card.

Ok, thanks! So I need a better SD card.

How do I get out of that scary looking error page?

You will have to Hold the Power Button til it shuts down.

Thanks! I restarted it and everything worked out just fine.

So, until I get an SD card, I shouldn't go off cowboying my wii and deleting stuff like crazy, and I should be fine, right?

No. I would not delete things if you are unaware of what they do and what they are, and only install things from a trusted site.
