unable to use any usb loader

I recently softmod my 4.1u wii using the guide on this website. The problem is that all the usb loaders will not play the backups. They will reconize the cover and title buit I am unable to play the games. In cfg, usbgx or wiiflow. Any help would be great.

Make sure your hard drive is formatted to fat32 and set as primary and active. Then simply rip the games to your hard drive through the usb loader on your wii

Ok I have the games as an ISO and then load them to wbfs with is my external then plug external to wii. Am I doing this wrong? The external that I use was formatted via the wbfs loader. How do I set to primary and make it active (on pc or wii).

Download EASEUS Partition Master, open the program, click on the drive letter and select primary/active and click on "Apply". (It may not show up as a wbfs formatted drive, but should still work). That's what I did to mine and it worked for me.

if you are using WBFS then it should just work unless you have multiple partitions on that drive.

@OP, there is a lot of random information here, so I hope I can help clarify some of it.

First off, I would recommend that you format your drive to FAT32 using our guide HERE. Follow all the instructions for setting up the drive. After that, use one of the apps listed in that guide and follow the instructions to transfer your game files to the HDD. If it still doesn't work we can go from there.

Also, it may be a good idea to check our usb compatibility list to make sure your drive is compatible. What kind of drive is it?

    Cool Quick Question

    Hey guys,

This maybe out of context, but my disc drive on my laptop won't open so I was wondering if there was anyway I could install wii games in reverse...instead of installing a purchased wii game on to my usb...is it possible to install a game from my usb on to a blank disc using the wii? I don't think it's possible, but if so could you PLEASE help me ASAP. I have like 20 blank discs and they are not doing anything, but collecting dust.

    THANX IN ADVANCE
