Rock Band 3 Wireless Keyboard
I know how this forum works, so just to let everyone know. I searched all the threads I could find about this subject on the site. There were quite a few answers but none answered my question.
I have both the original copy of Rock Band 3 and a back up on my external HD. I connected the usb dongle to the back of the wii. The guitar connects and plays fine. But the Keyboard won't connect. The funny thing is that I tried it on my ps3 and it connected right away without having the actual game.
I hit the reset button on the dongle the four lights just flash on the keyboard and just doesn't connect. I hit the rest button on the keyboard and well and nothing.
Please be kind. I've searched the whole site and found nothing. If there already is an answer to this question, please be kind to forward me the link.
Thanks to all.
I asked this question 7 hours ago and no one has yet to answer. Am I asking the wrong question. Is there an answer to my question somewhere on this site? If so please be kind and forward me the thread. Thank you so much.
Does keyboard connects when playing from original or problem is only with backup ?
Have you followed this guide?
Minimum firmware version to play Rock Band 3 + keyboard
I plan to buy Rock Band 3 bundled with the keyboard. My Wii is running softmod 3.2U that has Homebrew channel.
Is firmware 3.2U enough to play Rock Band 3? I haven't plug the keyboard to my Wii yet to know if it will connect.
I have been reading the music game info. It said ios 223 base 38 merged with base 37 Hermes v4
cios 248 base 56 d2xv7
But I don't quite understand how to check my Wii ios, cios, etc. How does d2x related to firmware version 3.2U?

I have old 3rd party PS2/Xbox wireless controller that is permanently paired. At least with mine, the keyboard works in Rock Band 3.
