Question softmod update - which base in wad manager

Softmod was working fine (originally used dogeggs guide on this site) in this guide we were told to select IOS249 as the base when installing wads.

I'm still trying to get fat32 partion to work with wiiflow. I updated the softmod using the latest guide but used IOS249 as the base when installing all the wads in wad manger.

Should I repeat the guide but use IOS222 as the base in wad manager or am I blowing smoke up where it dont belong?

You are a little confused, the ios you used is just that. Wad manager needs a patched ios to install wads, it doesn't matter which one you used. Base ios is what official nintendo ios was used to create a cios such as 249 or 222.

Is your fat32 partition primary and active? What "latest guide"are you referring to for updating your mod?

latest guide on this site skellinator, fat32 is primary and active and have done this (link) so far...... I understand that wiiflow on 249 apparently has issues with fat32, so I have been trying to get the latest 222 version running. Thanks anyway mate... I was being stupid, been a long time.

Just wondering why wiiflow is the only one not working.?.
