That all looks good, so load priiloader and select the system menu hacks. Then enable either region free all, or just region free channels (not both). That should let you load the out of region wiiware.

Ok, I've enabled region free channels in priiloader system menu hacks. (I don't see one called "region free all"). Which out of region wiiware should I load?

**edit: Would the fact that I formatted Wii system memory before installing HomeBrew have anything to do with this?

**edit 2: I feel like we're on the cusp of cracking this nut and figuring this out.

Formating the wii system settings removed the ticket for your wiiware/vc from the wii. It would have removed all the channels if they where on nand, but since they where on sd you have the channels on sd but no ticket on nand. Without the ticket on nand you can not play them on the wii.

Open any region changer and only change the region back to Euro and the area back to Aus or whatever it was. Try to open the shop channel and download the titles again. You should be able to reinstall purchased titles. Reinstall them to nand.

Now here is the issue, if you change the region back to USA the shop channel will no longer work. The only way to get the shop channel to work on USA it to first open it under Euro and delete the account. It would then work under USA. So you can change all settings to USA, except the region which will keep the Euro shop working for the furture. Or you can download all your titles, make a nand backup of them, then delete the Euro account and make a new account under USA. It just depends on what you want to do. The wii will only load titles for the region it is set to, unless you use priiloader hacks. So once you get the euro titles installed you could switch to a USA account or leave it as euro depending on if you want to buy more USA wiiware/vc titles or not.

At the moment, they are not working because the ticket is not on the nand. Reinstalling from Euro shop should fix this.

Ok, I've reinstalled for Euro. My region settings are as follows and I still can't play the games on the SD card:

What about the nand backup I made before starting this whole process?

You can not play the games from the sd card without the ticket. Only way to get the ticket on the wii is to reinstall the channel onto the wii. You can reinstall from shop or wad.

Possibly you could extract you nand.bin and emulate it in dolphin emulator, then more the channels from sd card make to the wii and extract the channels as wads. Then you could install those wads back onto your wii.
