Us Shop channel selectively denying downloads?

I'm running 3.2U. I can download other games in the Shop channel, but for some reason when I try to download Super Mario Bros. 2 (NOT the lost levels) it returns the error code 204036. I've already purchased the content, making it all the more irritating. I cannot find a non-Pal wad of the game online (I own an original copy of the game.), and converting a pal version of the wad to NTSC-U or Region-Free only provides a black screen with a wiimote disconnect and no sound when running from the System Menu.

    Here is my syscheck:

    sysCheck v2.1.0b17 by Double_A and R2-D2199
    ...runs on IOS58 (rev 6175).

    Region: NTSC-U
    System Menu 3.2U (v289)

    Drive date: 2006.05.26
Homebrew Channel 1.0.0 running on IOS58
    Hollywood v0x11
    Console ID: 67358013

    Found 135 titles.
Found 38 IOS on this console. 4 of them are stub.

But won't I lose the use of my applications that rely on the trucha bug exploit if I do that?

no, follow the softmod any wii guide linked in my signature. Let it install the 4.1 SM too. You will be very happy with the results.

ok i'll give it a try - in your guide you say the quickest way to update is to accept the update from Nintendo and use letterbomb - is this still true? It won't update to some new super badass firmware where I can't exploit will it?

No, don't accept the online update. That will put you on 4.3. That sm is able to be exploited too, unless Nintendo did something that we don't know about yet. I don't want you to be the guinea pig for that!

In fact, did you see the part at the top that says never ever ever update through Nintendo????

If you fail to read then you will fail at the mod.

Sent with WiiHacks app, that should explain any typos 8-p

Gosh darn it. I updated to 4.2u and I followed the Softmod ANY wii guide, I still get the error while trying to download the game. Should I post a new Syscheck?

Looks like I just needed to remove a stub from a previous install of a different Mario 2 wad. Thanks for helping out, though!
