d2x cIOS questions and gamecube game play

ok i know this gamecube d2x loading is new and u can only load them from sd...currently i am on d2x v7 is there any point in updating that (all my games that i have tested currently seem to be working (although starfox adventures had no sound well music just no sound effects, like lightning and talking in the beginning and control of character isn't correct...altough it's the same if i play the disk also...same with spyro)) my question is is there any reason to update to d2x v8...

also i've read about being able to have your gamecube games on hard drive and transferring them to sd when u want to play them....but i haven't figured out how to do this....this would be a big time saver for me as i only have a 16 gb sd card and over 20 games....i have to delete and move games onto it every time i want to play one i can't fit onto it....i love how i can now backup my gamecube games as i've already had to get a few resurfaced and taken almost all of them to get polished at my local video rental place (it only cost a $1 a disc to have that done so it's well worth it and can fix most scratches) but i know i can't keep doin it everytime there is a scratch on one of my games....so could anyone maybe tell me how i maybe able to transfer them from my hd as i want to play them from the wii so i don't have to hook it to my computer every time (if its possible) or point me to a link that describes how i would want to accomplish this

If everything works, there is no real need to update to d2x v8, unless you are interested in certain new features it offers. So unless you need a certain feature, I advise to leave things as they are.

As for the gamecube discs: how about WiiXplorer? Although maybe someone will come up with a better way. I haven't used gamecube discs yet.
Awesome sig picture does not work

thx WiiXplorer works great with copying files from hd to sd little slow (about the same speed as ripping the game from disk) but isn't any slower than disconnecting everything from my wii and connecting it to my pc to copy and makes it alot faster...too bad there isn't a way for cfg loader to see the games on the hard drive and auto load them to card when selected or a way to emulate a sd card in memory to hold the game while u play it from usb...who knows though maybe soon someone will work out something until then i'm happy with this great little program

There is a mod of cfg usbloader with Dios Mios Lite, which allows you to store the GC game on your Hard drive and it copies it over to the sd card for use when selected

u need a games folder on the root of the usb device but u also need to have an empty folder named with the game id on the sd card, when it searches for the game it will see its not on the sd card then copy it over from the usb
