    Help running backed up games?

First off I'd like to toss in a general apology for getting off on the wrong foot... I was only trying to help by submitting a tutorial that doesn't seem to exist anywhere :L

Anyways. I have recently softmodded my Wii and enjoyed various homebrew apps and stuff, and was looking for a way to run a backup. I have legally purchased the game (I will provide a picture with a timestamp if that's what's required here) and it being from 2002, it's been scratched to the point where I can no longer play it. I had backed it up back in 2008 for just such a reason, to an .iso thats 1,476,395,008 bytes, which to my understanding is the correct size? I have burned it onto a DVD DL which again to my understanding isn't readable by a Wii, so I was wondering what my options were. I understand that I can launch the .iso via USB & I'm just trying that now but whenever I load USB Loader GX it hangs & reboots to the homebrew channel... Any help mates?

There were wii games in 2002?
No needto provide proof, just don't make our site the center of attention for industries who troll, to try and get them shut down.

Errrrr, that's pretty important isn't it.
It's a gamecube game. Metroid Prime, to be specific. But I've had DOL G8ME0-00 since it came out in November and I'm a bit sad it doesn't work anymore, but I'd like to continue playing it.

Biggest obstacle for your situation is that the console has to be old enough to still allow disk backups to be used, and not so old as to have the drive burned up or replaced with a newer one.

There is also that dios mios option for the sd card play, but I don't know much about it myself yet.
