Thats friggin weird cuz I just had to rerip NSMB a few days ago to get it to work. And wiibackup manager didnt show it as corrupt which was even stranger....

I am a very logical person, but I have to admit after all the time I have spent in this forum that there are gremlins in some machines. Stuff happening for no apparent reason.

Did you actually rerip the game or did you just take the iso off the drive, format, and then reload it?

Pulled it off the unit and reloaded it after the reformat, I downloaded the game originally from the internet and never had trouble, then I recently had to format the drive for personal reasons so I then ripped it from a friend who had it come with there wii bundle (the red one) and surprisingly all my saves were still intact and the game worked great for a while until this happened. I would rerip the game from the friend to see if it helps by why would a bunch of games just stop working? Why would I have to rerip them all? This makes little to no sense

Well if you dont own the games then it it serves you right. Wiihacks does not support piracy, so dont ask for help with pirated materials.

Corruption can happen randomly. I have seen it a few times. In the grand scheme it is probably less than 0.01% of the time. My suggestion would be to get legit games and reload them. If the NSMB you had got corrupted, it would stand to reason that putting it back on still wouldnt work. Make sense?

With respects the legitimacy of the games is not in question, as I mention I had other titles that experienced the same issues that I own legitimately, I used Super Mario Bros as an example to facilitate the explanation of my query, it wasn't to be used to tell me: "Wiihacks does not support piracy, so don't ask for help with pirated materials." As I had read the forum rules and was not breaking them. You asked for one of the titles and I answered you. For all intents and purposes the issue is with legitimate games as well as illegitimate games, and my query stands to be answered as I'm sure other members legitimate and not, experience or have experienced this issue and would probably stand to benefit from a solution.

If you'd like I'd be more then happy to reedit all posts with "super Mario Bros" to "Kirby: Return to Dreamland" if you'd like seeing as I legitimately own Kirby yet it also exibits all the symptoms of Super Mario Bros.

Despite the forum rules jab that I didn't need, I do thank you for your help as you've been the only one to step up to the plate.

I will only say this one time. Mentioning of playing or attempting to play games that you do not own is against site rules, for much greater reasons than just being jerks. In case you didnt notice megaupload got taken down not too long ago. I dont want this site to be one of them. You are the one that volunteered the info that you didnt own the game. Because you did that, I was obligated to inform you of the forum rules.

I also gave you some further info, assuming that you did have legit games, and suggestions on how to fix your issue. I wasnt being a snob or a jerk, I was protecting our site. I was not just "jabbing" you.

Yes sir I totally understand; the "serves you right" was uncalled for is all, your intention was to be blunt about the rules, I can understand that, adding those extra few words is what made you come across rough. It's not what you say, it's how you say it my wife tells me. I consider myself warned and aside from the one comment, I thank you again for your help, time and patience with my "faut pas".

Glad you understand. Try ripping one of the games you know works back to the drive and see if it works. If it does, then your problem was corruption and you will need to obtain new rips of all the ones that didnt work. This may not be the solution that you wanted, but sometime thats the way it goes. May I suggest fat32 as a format for your drive? Its a lot easier to work with.

I was under the impression one had to use WBFS to use the WBFS 3.0 program to load/unload Iso's I've created with my game collection? Or does WBFS 3.0 work with other file formats?

WBFS 3.0 is only for wbfs formats. WiiBackup Manager is one of the best programs I think for working with a fat32 drive (also supports wbfs and ntfs) I thought you said you had that?
