    Can modded wiis read burned dvds?

    Hello, i followed maui's guide to softmodding my wii, the only question i have is how can i get my wii now to play backup games off dvds? Thanks

    not all wiis can read burned media, In fact most of them cannot. I think anything post mid 2009 are not able to read burned discs. You can look at the wii drivechip database and see what your wii has.

    Ok I understand. I just have one more question if you dont mind. I have been running wiiflow from the homebrew channel and ive been trying to make a forwarder so i can have it on my system menu. I have read guides on this site but none of them have worked. I wanted to run carbinox wiiflow. Any ideas? i have all the d2x ios's installed.

    I have just one more question im sorry. you guys have been so helpful that i dont know where else to turn now. i have mw3 and i can play to game just fine but when i go to play online it says that i need an update. its 46 blocks. its it ok to update or is this like a tricky nintendo update to brick my wii?

    The in game mw3 update is safe to accept. There is a guide for playing that game from usb as well.
