Hey! I'm trying to find a way to backup the GC memory card I have onto an SD then onto my computer. I tried GCMM from the homebrew browser except it says cannot find memory card for some reason even though it works in retail games and with DML ones. Any help? Also my CFG loader auto loads the USB but I want it to load from the SD to start can someone tell me how?
The problem with the GC save backup software is that it does not recognize all N* branded GC Mem cards
I tried GCMM, NuGaSa, and sd2gc but had no success with any of them recognizing my Mem card, even though the wii has no problem recognizing it.
most cfg loader settings are in the settings.cfg file...but i'm not totaly sure what your after with your question?
Yeah after I posted this I tried all the programs and none of them worked so that makes sense since mine is a regular Nintendo one. The quest about CFG loader was that mine auto loads USB which I am not currently using so I have to press A a lot until it gives me the option to choose SD. I want to try to make it start by auto loading from SD. Thanks for the help.Quote:

if what your asking is to play your backups off your sd card... I havn't tried this but I would guess it's the setting called "device = USB"
now there is this line in the settings.cfg file and in the config.txt file in the usb-loader folder on the root of your sd card, so i'm not sure which one if not both you may have to change.
