Help with Priiloader and Karoake Glee

    Good Afternoon,

I initially signed up for this site on 05-14-2010 and was able to successfully mod my WII. Up until then I have never ran into any issues at all. Since we don't use the WII that much it's never been a problem and all backup games would run fine. I haven't had to install anything or mess with the ios/cios in a long time so I'm a little unsure and where to start from.

Recently, my gf requested some games to play with her nieces and I'm not always there to ensure that they do not do the system update on the WII. In particular, they are looking to play Glee Karaoke Revolutions and a few other newer singing songs that I cannot remember.

So I did some research on this site and found that I can use the Priiloader to prevent the system update option incase one of them hits it and installs.

    I have a few questions:
    1) If I disable the system update option via Priiloader, will it enable them to play the game? I know certain files may need to be updated also but am sure where to start. (I couldn't find a specific topic on it using the search feature.)
    2) If so, I have used the faq on installing Priiloader 0.7 but receive the following error during install. "cIOS36 isn't es_identity patched: error: -1017.; aborting mission." This oocurs immiadately upon open up Priiloader and lasts for about a 2 seconds.

I'm looking for the easiest option here, I don't really care if I can't get Priiloader installed but like to get the game working for them.

I'm going to post the system information, please advise if more info is needed. Also, whether this is fixed or not, you guys helped me years ago to set it up so I made a donation. I appreciate the help in advance.

    System Menu v4.2

Just downloaded the System Check app and it loads but then gives an error: " Exception (DSI) Occured!" Then a stack dump...

    Please help...

Did you really have to use bold and big text?

I'm not even gonna read it until you fix it. Also your first post should be a hello in the introduce yourself section. You may get a reply with all the info you need.

    My apologies...

I appreciate the helpful response after donating my money for the assistance on this website.

I would assume that if I signed up almost 2 years ago I wouldn't have to make an "introduction" thread but sure I can go ahead and do that. Also, please link my donation linked to my account sent using the email address I registered with.

No problem. I just suggested to post an introduction thread, because you have not made one. If you make one you will be greeted with a bunch of links and useful info.

To solve your problem, you can follow the softmod any wii guide. Start from the spoiler "softmods with homebrew installed". It will update your softmod and install all the brick protection you need.
