OH and one more thing (man, I feel so bad not knowing how to edit posts and double posting), IF I make a bootmii (as boot 2) backup, can I restore it on my wii after I send it to Nintendo?
So you have a boot 2 wii that you are sending back to nintendo for some sort of repair?? It is way out of warranty. Troll or idiot??
For the sake of keeping on topic, yes assuming they don't change something critical.

Okay, I didn't have warranty in the first place, so yeah...
I was going to delete boot 2 and turn my wii into a virgin anyway and boot 2 can un-brick any situation (unless it's corrupt), right?

You said you did not want to be talked out of sending it to Nintendo, so you make your choice. You have obviously read some things and are capable of making your big boy choice.

Sent with WiiHacks app, that should explain any typos 8-p

You should be able to restore your nand backup after getting it back. Assuming they send you the same console back. If they replace the motherboard or they give you a refurbished one, then you will not be able to restore your nand.

What is wrong with it if you don't mind me asking? Might be an easy fix.
