USB Loader GX Twilight Princess Ocarina issue

I am trying to use Ocarina codes on Twilight Princess and can't seem to get anything to work.

V1 codes give me a black screen after the safety strap screen

    V2 codes have no effect

I have USB loader gx download the codes directly and then turn on the ones I want and then save the .gct file.

This the only game so far that I havent been able to get codes to work for. They worked fine with Skyward Sword.

I am using the US version of both codes and the game.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Iv searched the forums where the codes originated and no one seems to have any issues.
