Wiiflow not updating game list (only when adding games!)

I updated wiiflow to r418 (just replaced the dol) and now it won´t update the game list when i add a new game (i use usb loader gx to install the games). If i remove a game it updates it. I´ve tried going back to r417 but it stills does the same. I have to delete the files inside the cache folder for it to update the list.
Should i delete the Wiiflow folder (except the covers so i wont have to download them again) and the ini file inside apps/wiiflow? Or is there a setting in any of the config files to force it to update the list every time i run the program?
    Thanks!

if it isn't working, why not just downgrade the dol? if that doesn't work possibly you didn't update the entire program correctly, possibly they are some option in wiiflow that are missing? Seems when I run wiiflow or any of the program channels through homebrew they "reset" try running wiiflow from homebrew once

The easiest thing to do would be just to rip the games through WiiFlow. Why do you use GX? Anyway, try deleting all the config/cache files. If it still doesn't work, maybe ask around on the WiiFlow IRC channel.

Easy fix, just go into settings, and on the fourth page, turn 'save favorite mode state' to off. It it wasn't on I can't help you but this same thing happened to me and that's how I fixed it.

I'm running Wiiflow as well... I've tried everything, but it mainly seems that one... somewhat complicated thing has to be done in order to refresh the listing... It's not the MOST effective, but it'll keep you from deleting your cache. Here are the steps:
    1) Insert your media device into your pc.
    2) Navigate to the wiiflow folder... This is a settings folder which to my understanding stores cache etc as well...
    3) Delete this folder... Make sure it is NOT the SDdrive:/apps/wiiflow/ folder. It MUST be in drive:/
    4) Navigate to: SDdrive:/apps/wiiflow/
This folder will/(MAY) contain 4 files. Keep these three:
    • boot.dol
    • icon.png
    • metal.xml

    Delete all other files.
    5) Head back to your Wii, (personally I would recommend restarting it, just to make sure this kicks in)
    6) While it's powered down, insert the SD Card
    7) Navigate to either your USB Loader, or HomebrewChannel or whatnot/WiiFlow and re-download your images from WiiTDB.

Apparently EVERTYTIME you update the games listing in the USBdrive:/wbfs/ folder, this has gotta be performed... I know this is a pain bud, but it'll keep you from erasing GOOD games, and having to retransfer them. Take it easy

WOW, what a pain your method is...
I already found an easier solution (A LOT EASIER), just thinking of having to re-download all covers makes me shiver!

You just need to go into Wiiflow/cache/lists and delete usb1list file (or something like that, or usb2 if you use usb2 port), when you restart wiiflow it will update the list without having to redownload every cover.

Lol man, just saw the comments listed and decided to offer some help... If you didn't want the advice, that's cool. Evertime I run this method, I update a Wii in like 5mins tops lol. Good luck with that attitude around here man... Peace

No attitude intended! You said yourself it was a pain, i just offered another solution.
There is no negativity towards you or your method, i am on a 512kb/1mb connection, downloading 100mb of covers takes a looong time here!
Deleting that small file saves me from re-downloading the covers. Using Wiixplorer makes it even easier. In 2 min you have wiiflow updated.
Try not to see the negative side of every post you read!
