Black screen after loaded Bootmii &HBC

I loaded Bootmii & HBC from Letterbomb. I followed the directions. The screen said that it "could not load boot2 because boot1" (can't remember the rest & something about loading ios). After I hit "launch bootmii, my DVD drive started flashing on & off & got a black screen. I hit power, power, power, reset, reset, but nothing is happening. Did I miss something? This is for a 4.3u version

Are you following the ANY Wii guide? If so, you probably skipped the part about preparing the SD card....

Yes I am following the "softmod any wii" guide. I prepared the SD card prior to loading Letterbomb. Do I have to rmove it & do it again prior to creating a nand backup? I have the HBC on my menu, but when I try to launch bootmii, I get a black screen & my DVD flashes blue on & off

When you launch the hackmii installer via letterbomb you get 3 options: Install bootmii, install HBC, and prepare an sd card. You forgot to do the prepare an sd card part. You do that from the same screen where you installed HBC and bootmii. It puts specific files on your card so that you can launch bootmii.

Yes, I forgot to prepare the SD card on bootmii. Now I am creating my nand backup & it says that there are "factory bad blocks" 650, 651 & 677 to be exact. Also says "corrected page 170276". Is that anything to worry about or are they just bad blocks on the SD card?

Bad blocks are normal. As long as you don't have more than 100, don't worry about it and continue with the guide.

i have the same problem but in other moment :

    ,,Part 1- Wad Installs

NOTE: If a wad fails to install, try to install that wad again. If the
wad still fails, press B to go back to the main menu, select reload ios, reload ios236, then try to
install the wad that is giving you trouble again. DO NOT PROCEED TO THE NEXT STEP UNTIL
    ALL WADS INSTALL

Start HBC, press [HOME], Launch Bootmii
    Multi-Mod Manager Starts
    (via cboot2)"

When i press Launch Bootmii i have black screen but i
    prepare the SD .

If you have made your nand backup, copy it to your pc. Then format your sd card again and follow the next step.
    If you skipped this step:

Be sure to download the region you want your wii to be.
    Extract your ModPack to sd:\

    Download CIOS-PACK-V6.zip
    Extract to sd:\
    Overwrite files if asked
You won't have the files to launch MMM.
