    Another issue

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...ide-fat32.html
Following this guide, what I am finding is that both, configurable USB loader and usb loader GX are both not detecting my device, my HDD.... but for whatever reason my wii media player is. Anything I am missing here? - WD WD5000H1U 500GB - Working is the HDD i am using, fits the list..... NTFS file system, is there something I need to load onto the HDD, doesn't the mod any wii guide automatically make these programs work? PLEASE HELP!

    tried this, still not working

    Anybody?

    Unhappy

Still having this issue, again the HDD is on the list of working drives and works in media player but will simply not load on USB loaders, 3 separate ones, there has to be a step I am missing. Everything else works on my Wii, EVERYTHING.

When you followed the softmod any wii guide. Did you do the last step and get the newest app pack? Also make sure your when you formatted your drive did you make it primary and set to active.

I keep seeing that you can use the newest file system but do the other file systems work better?

All the file systems work. Just fat32 is the recommendation.

Is your drive plugged into port 0? The bottom usb port. One closest to the edge.

No your wii has 2 ports. Plug the drive into port 0.
